The screen is unfortunately only 320×240, a detectable downgrade from late RIM units. It’s quiet abrupt and firm though, and QVGA is not precisely poor. For an entrance level unit it is more acceptable.
There’s an undeniable plastic feeling to the Blackberry Curve 8520, although it does not go so far as to look cheap. The positions of the mobile phone, and top and bottom of the backward, all are polished off in soft touch paint which eases up it just a little of grip and a proficient feel. The side keys are all just bumps as contrary to separate keys with the housing “stretching” to fit them rather than breaking. We’ve checked this from Motorola iDEN units earlier, and we liked it.
The design might not be quite as high grade as the flagship Storm; simply it doesn’t give the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8520 away as an entrance level gimmick. The equilibrium and weight is better, heading to a good in-hand experience. The optic trackpad applies it a unique bend. The display might not be able to catch others, but it’s plenty beneficial and do not feel that it takes away from the total design. The Blackberry 8520 Curve is an excellent phone due to what it offers, and its fantastic price, making the Blackberry brand more accessible to average mobile phone users.
